Q: Why is my club listed as unknown?

Due to an error we didn’t ask for your Club details when booking. Please let us know by email your Club details and we’ll get this updated.

Q: what round am I shooting?

We have adopted the revised AGB round names to make the rounds easier to understand. All rounds are from the ‘Western’ family which means a total of 8 dozen, with four dozen at each of two distances. The number in the round name indicates the longest distance. For example the the ‘Western 40’ is four dozen at 40yds followed by four dozen at 30yds.

This year we also have gender neutral age groups i.e. men and women shoot the same distances. This was agreed for this shoot before AGB postponed changes to the age groups originally planned for this season until October 2022. It is not confirmed what those changes will be for 2023.

Please check the target list carefully and advise any errors / changes by email.

Q: what age cut off are you using?

The AGB changes to the qualifying ages do not come in until October 2022, so this year it is your age on the day of the shoot (21st May) that is used for age groups.

Q: Can I shoot a different distance than my age group?

Yes. You can enter any of the available rounds. If you enter a round for an age group below yours this is know as ‘shooting down a distance’. In this case you will not be eligible for the bow category or team awards, but will shoot in the ‘unclassified’ category.

Q: How do I find Lintman Archery Club?

A Map and directions can be accessed on Google Maps
