On behalf of myself and the management committee I would like to wish all Lintman members season’s greetings and hope that you get a chance to enjoy this time of year with friends and family.
Due to work pressures, I have not been to the indoor sessions on Tuesday nights or visited the field as often as I would like. I am hoping to be devoting more time to archery in the new year.
I hear from Adrian that the indoor sessions are well attended recently and I am sure the Christmas shoot this Tuesday was a success.
We have a full program of beginner’s courses scheduled in 2018 starting in January at Bisley. As always if you have friends or family looking to take up the support we can fast track applications from members to these courses.
The Frostbite monthly competition match days have been well attended despite poor weather recently. This is good to see and we continue to be pleased with the numbers of people shooting on Sunday morning club days.
We are also encouraged to see the 252 awards continuing to be of interest to new and old club members alike.
At this point I would like to thank Lindsey who has been very busy collating and logging large numbers of scoresheets.
Whatever your aim in archery for the new year we wish you success
Happy holidays and be the arrow not the target
Best regards
Michael
